FREE admission, seminars, and parking! Come hungry to support our expenses. The schedule of seminars is as follows:

1. 09:30 am – 3hrs: Building your own kit aircraft – What’s involved?

2. 09:30 am – ADS-B - are YOU ready for 2020?

3. 11:00 am – What are VMC & IMC Clubs?

4. 01:00 pm – Electrical Systems on Homebuilt Aircraft

Flight Instruction in Privately-Owned Aircraft at KLWM

The owner of a privately owned aircraft may hire an Independent flight instructor of their choosing for the purpose of receiving flight training in that aircraft. A based aircraft owner’s Independent flight instructor may receive vehicle access privileges to the Lawrence Municipal Airport in accordance with the Lawrence Municipal Airport Commission’s Security Rules and Regulations.
Note: The above activity notwithstanding, Independent flight instructors who provide instruction to the owner of a privately-owned aircraft are expressly prohibited from advertising, soliciting, bartering or otherwise engaging in all other commercial activity on the premises of the Lawrence Municipal Airport without the express written consent of the Lawrence Municipal Airport Commission.

Flight Instruction in Flying Club-Owned Aircraft at KLWM

Flight instruction may be given in the club aircraft by one club member to another club member, in accordance with Federal Order 5190.6B 10.6.
